Preparing the version 6.2 CanSat radio

Pins for jumpers on the version 6.2 CanSat shield

On the CanSat shield, as shown on the figure to the right, there are 8 pair of pins, where one can place a jumper: J1 – J8.

A jumper

When J2 and J3 are not connected, you can program the Arduino via the USB cable.

By setting jumpers at J2 (and J3) you can transmit data to the radio and through the radio to the ground station.

When placing jumpers at J4 (and J5) you enable data storage in the MicroSD-card (if a MicroSD card is inserted).

The jumper pins J1, J6 – J8 are not related to the use of radio or datalogger.
